Responsibilities

  • Providing general administrative support to the finance function, keeping accurate records, electronic filing, reporting.
  • Processing of supplier invoices.
  • Preparation of fortnightly payment runs.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and following up on queries.
  • To forge effective working relationship with teams to ensure costs are captured and paid in a timely manner.
  • Reconciliation of credit card accounts.
  • Responding to queries and maintaining the finance team’s inbox.
  • Checking and querying purchase orders.
  • Responsible end-to-end process of staff expenses.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Shows a willingness to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Analytical mind, able to gather and analyse situations in a thorough and accurate manner.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to business needs and requirements.
  • A team player who is willing to ‘get stuck in’ and support colleagues where needed.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage time effectively.
  • A ‘hands on’ operator who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Comfortable talking on new challenges and learning new skills.
  • A genuine interest in business financials and accounting practices.

 Desirable

  • Working towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working within a finance team.
