Senior BD hires at The Electrospinning Company to drive growth in key areas Executives bring more than 30 years’ experience in global medical device companies

Harwell, UK, September 12th, 2023 – The Electrospinning Company, a leading contract research, development and manufacturing organisation for electrospun biomaterials in medical devices, is driving its international expansion with the appointment of two senior business development executives. Conan Campbell, who joins as Senior Director of Business Development, is a specialist in vascular implant coatings. North America is the focus for Jeff Orosco, also appointed a Senior Director of Business Development. With increased recognition of the potential of electrospinning production for biomaterials such as coatings, membranes and scaffolds, this investment in the team is expected to expand its business considerably.

Conan has spent more than 20 years in the medical device industry, specifically in the vascular space, with companies such as Medtronic, Surgical Specialities and Lake Region Medical. He joins from Integer Holdings. Also highly experienced in medical devices, Jeff has more than 15 years of experience in commercialisation, contract manufacturing operations and business development strategy. He has worked at DSM Biomedical, Zimmer Biomet and Conmed across orthopaedics, sports medicine, tissue and biologics, wound care, cardiology and wearables.
