o2h Group heralds massive demand for Cambridge Wide Open Day
Attendance levels for the 2024 Cambridge Wide Open Day on Wednesday June 12 are already double the numbers at last year’s inaugural event. o2h Group, which is organising the event, has persuaded some world-class life science and technology companies plus relevant associated organisations to open their doors to visitors.
With more than 150 companies and parks opening their doors to the public, this is a unique opportunity for employers and employees, sci-tech enthusiasts, and residents to explore Cambridge’s world-class science and technology facilities and learn more about the activities on their doorstep.
The day encompasses tours, talks, workshops, presentations, pitches, round table discussions, new technologies, masterclasses, pop-up stands and product demonstrations.
Events are taking place in the city centre, and across to the West Campus; in and around Cambridge Science Park in the North, and to the South of Cambridge including the Biomedical Campus, and out to the South encompassing Melbourn, Hinxton, and Haverhill. Cambridge Wide Open Day has now published the full schedule for the event.
An organised minibus tour will cover visits to 3-4 venues, including a science park, an incubator, a prominent biotech or tech company, a university or college, and/or similar facilities/organisations.
The tour will start at 10 am from Cambridge Central Station and conclude at Hauxton House for a garden party, which will take place from 4 pm to 8 pm. Participants in the paid tour will also be provided with lunch. To sign up or address queries, email opencambridge@o2h.com

Life Science companies taking part include: Alchemab, Altos Labs, Astellas Pharma, Astex Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, bit.bio, Cellular Origins, Crescendo Biologics, Enhanc3D Genomics, Illumina, Insmed, Lex Diagnostics, o2h discovery, Owlstone Medical, PhoreMost, revvity, and SPT Labtech.
Host technology companies include Archipelago Technology, ForefrontRF and VNC Automotive while Cambridge Future Tech, Co-Labs by Journey, Milner Therapeutics Institute, o2h co-work labs and TusPark UK are also welcoming guests.
Life science hubs hosting guests include Babraham Research Campus, Bruntwood SciTech, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge Science Park, Granta Park, Unity Campus and Wellcome Genome Campus.
Several innovation centres are also involved, namely Allia Future Business Centre, The Babraham Institute, The Bradfield Centre, Cambridge Enterprise, The Epicentre, ideaSpace, St John’s Innovation Centre and The West Hub.
