Here are the latest grant opportunities from Innovate UK:  

Biomed Biomedical Catalyst 2022

UK registered SMEs can apply for a share of up to £15 million for projects to support UK registered businesses to develop innovative health or healthcare-focussed products, technologies and processes. The Biomedical Catalyst now incorporates the Digital Health Technology Catalyst and will support digital health projects.

Innovation Loans

Innovate UK is offering up to £25 million in loans to micro, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), for highly innovative late stage research and development (R&D) projects with the best potential for the future. This competition offers loans to help businesses overcome barriers to their innovations becoming a successful, commercial reality.

APC 21

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of £25 million for late-stage R&D projects. The competition seeks proposals for collaborative R&D projects that design, develop and manufacture zero emission on-vehicle technologies for on-road or off-road vehicles.

Innovation in time resilience, dissemination, and application

Innovate UK is working with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) to invest up to £4.7 million in innovation projects that contribute to resilient time, frequency and synchronisation (TFS) and its dissemination and application. The innovation in time resilience, dissemination and application competition has two strands:

  • Strand 1: demonstrator – for projects undertaking late stage industrial research or experimental developmental projects.
  • Strand 2: feasibility – for projects undertaking early stage feasibility studies

Farming Innovation Programme – Large R&D Partnership Projects

DEFRA, alongside Innovate UK have £8 million available to fund industrial research and experimental development projects that address major on-farm or immediate post-farm challenges and opportunities.
