What is the Blue Knight(TM) initiative? 
Blue Knight is a collaboration between Johnson & Johnson Innovation (JLABS) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), that aims to stimulate innovation and incubation of technologies to improve health security and the world’s response to health threats and emerging infectious diseases.

Is my company the right fit for Blue Knight?
Incorporated companies developing science and technology that may improve health security and response, with the aim to protect all people, particularly high-risk or vulnerable populations, from existing and emerging health threats are eligible to apply. The program is open to companies around the world, including companies based in Europe. Learn more about the criteria here.

Where are Blue Knight companies located?
Virtual residency for Blue Knight companies is available through the JLABS @ BE site in Belgium. Current Blue Knight companies in Europe are: Gabi SmartCare, Genome Biologics and Protinhi Therapeutics. 

Is there an application deadline for Blue Knight?
No, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Blue Knight ended 2021 with 19 companies in its portfolio and we look forward to onboarding new companies through 2022! Apply now.
