Innovative Biotech and Medtech Startups Shine at BioSeed 2025

The 11th annual BioSeed event brought together 42 pioneering biotech and medtech companies to present their ground-breaking technologies to an audience of over 100 active life sciences investors. Throughout the day, C-suite leaders showcased solutions to a range of conditions impacting quality of life as well as life-threatening diseases, both rare and prevalent affecting global populations. This included new targets and treatment methods, innovative medical devices, diagnostics and surgical solutions. They also featured novel and repurposed small molecule drugs, biologics, blood monitoring, engineering and cryopreservation techniques.

The new technologies and therapeutics on offer and seeking investment covered multiple therapeutic indications in oncology, cardiovascular disease, joint regeneration, injury, lung and skin conditions, metabolic disease, women’s health, cystic fibrosis, neuroscience, infectious disease, AMR, precision psychiatry, and more!

The event concluded with a networking drinks reception, providing attendees the opportunity to build valuable connections and celebrate the day’s successes. A highlight of the evening was the announcement of the BioSeed session winners:

The overall BioSeed 2025 Winner was Alice Preston, CEO of Panthura—a well-deserved recognition of her company’s cutting-edge contributions to the industry.
