This role will focus on the provision of insurance cover to enable the University’s research to be undertaken at an appropriate level of risk to the University.
This exciting and varied role is at the heart of the Medical Sciences Division’s Business Development and Partnering team and will provide cohesion and planning to team processes working closely with the Head of Team and the Business Development Managers.
The position will hold a key role in the development of a cell-free translation system to be utilised in the Orbit peptide screening platform. The main responsibilities will be developing cell-free expression systems, purifying and charging tRNAs and producing recombinant proteins. In addition, you will assist the daily running of the lab and maintenance of the equipment.
