Job Summary: To develop, produce and validate solid phase panel immunoassays
This team leader position involves working in both a hands on and a management role
Making, testing (running manual ELISA and Multiplier assays) and optimizing assay components to work in a multiplex format; the production and QC of manufacturing sized lots; and the generation of data to support and validate the assay’s performance.
Analyzing and presenting data including the use of standardized spreadsheets and appropriate statistical tools; generation of specific data tables and reports, and the assessment of the data’s validity.
Ensure that scheduled maintenance, calibration and validation of laboratory equipment is carried out

Analytical characterisation of novel Biologic products and bioprocesses, as part of the CMC Team (within the Biologics Development group) based in Milton Park, Oxford (Ipsen Bioinnovation site).
To provide upstream and downstream bioprocess development support within Ipsen, including generation of feedstocks needed for development of downstream process stages.
To provide bioprocess development expertise, strategy and support within Ipsen and to evaluate new technologies for improvement of manufacturing processes. Specialist Bioprocess Development
Biologics Pharmaceutical Development, Milton Park
To provide upstream and downstream bioprocess development support within Ipsen, including generation of feedstocks needed for development of downstream process stages. The purpose of this role is to provide molecular biology, protein purification, upstream and downstream process development (USP & DSP), support technical transfer and provision of final and in-process non-GMP drug substance stocks as required, in support of Ipsen’s Biologics Development organization at its Milton Park site. This will be achieved by developing and optimising upstream and downstream processes suitable for the phase of development, performing fermentation and purification of target biologics and working in close collaboration with the Ipsen Biologics Pharmaceutical Development team at Ipsen, Wrexham and Drug Discovery, Neurology at the Milton Park site.
Experience & Qualifications:
PhD in a related biosciences field, with 3+ years relevant industrial R&D experience and expertise.
Working within contained laboratory conditions.
