We are recruiting scientists to build on our existing rare variant analysis infrastructure for whole exome and genome datasets. Projects include statistical methods development and new target discovery analysis of patient data from in-house datasets.
You should have:
We have positions for a range of expertise, from those who have recently completed, or are due to complete, their PhDs to postdoctoral fellows and staff scientists. We will consider candidates interested in moving into genetics from other areas of data science.
We are starting an exciting new analysis programme to integrate large-scale functional genomics data sets with our in-house database of genotype-phenotype associations. The goal of this programme is to understand the functions of disease variants at the cellular and molecular level, to help refine our ability to accurately detect promising candidate drug targets.
You should have:
A strong background in human disease genetics, including large scale data analysis.
Extensive experience in the statistical analysis of modern -omics data sets (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq or similar)
Experience in standard statistical approaches and modern computational tools.
The ability to summarize and visualize datasets to look for patterns, signals, or potential biases.
The ability to explain your ideas to both specialists and non-specialists.
You should ideally also have:
We are launching a new initiative to integrate the growing amount of genome-wide CRISPR screen data into our state-of-the-art common and rare variant genetic analyses. By bringing together population and engineered genetic variation into a unified statistical framework, we believe these data can be even more powerful.
We are building our extensive team of common variant analysts to develop and apply our proprietary methods on the world’s largest database of common variant associations to human diseases and traits. This is a tremendous opportunity to use the revolution of genetics to change a major aspect of healthcare.
A strong background in human disease genetics.
Experience analysing GWAS datasets.
We are now seeking a Scientific Project Manager to coordinate, track and deliver scientific objectives across the company. This role will report to the CSO, and involve working with senior staff to plan how best to achieve our high-level goals, and translate that plan into near-term projects and objectives. Our emphasis is on flexible, lightweight approaches to project management. The role will liaise with project managers for our major external collaborations, run cross-cutting meetings across our major areas of focus, lead internal scientific training and communications, and work with our Head of Communications on external communication strategy.

A scientific background in, and understanding of, genetics and genomics, coupled with the ability to quickly assimilate relevant scientific and technical details
The ability to juggle multiple priorities and switch context quickly
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build great working relationships at all levels
Experience working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Project management, report writing and analytical skills
The ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders
We are recruiting a scientist to develop and maintain our data import pipelines and to assist with our new experimental data generation initiative. The applicant's primary role will be to oversee the intake and quality control of public domain data into our internal database. In addition, they will provide scientific support for an exciting new direction for the company: generation of our first in-house experimental data sets. This will involve conducting literature reviews of promising candidate drug targets, cellular model systems and phenotypic assays. This would be an ideal position for a candidate seeking to gain experience of cutting-edge human disease genetics, bioinformatics and computational genomics.
A graduate degree in a biological science
You should ideally have
Some familiarity with modern human disease and/or genomics research
We are seeking experienced scientists to lead our project teams working on rare variant analysis, common variant analysis, CRISPR screen analysis and functional genomics. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a computational therapeutics company with access to amazing data, an outstanding senior leadership team and a growing network of partners who provide direct opportunities for translation.
