Translational Medicine Data Analyst (FT/PT)
PsiOxus Therapeutics Ltd is an Oxford based development stage biotechnology company developing novel therapeutics for the treatment of cancer, with a focus on immunotherapeutic approaches. At PsiOxus we are advancing our internal early and clinical stage candidates and establishing strategic partnerships with immune-oncology leaders to bring our cancer gene therapy products to patients.
Due to the expansion of our clinical development portfolio we have an exciting new opening for a Data Analyst to join our busy, newly formed Translational Medicine team. You will be responsible for the tracking, management, presentation and analysis of both biomarker and clinical data to inform drug mechanism of action, clinical safety and efficacy, and patient selection strategies.
This is a fantastic opportunity that would particularly suit an enthusiastic scientist who has some experience of working with biomarker and clinical data.
This is an office-based position located at our facility in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. We would be pleased to accept applications for both full time (37.5 hrs/wk), and part time/flexible working arrangements. Please state your preference in the covering letter.
Reporting directly to the Director of Translational Medicine you will work closely with both the Translational and Clinical teams as well as PsiOxus Project Leaders to ensure timely delivery and analysis of data to inform decision making and meet project milestones.
Key areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to:
- Tracking and collation of biomarker data generated by both the PsiOxus GxP lab and external vendors
- Analysis and interpretation of biomarker data together with clinical data
- Presentation of data to Translational, Clinical and Project teams as appropriate
- Be an active contributor to the Translational and Clinical teams as needed to support both functions with relevant data
We are looking for an enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual with a desire to learn and who wants to make a difference. Skills in managing data and data analysis are essential, as is a science background (minimum BSc level). We would prefer some experience in oncology translational medicine but it is not essential.
Applicants must have a clear, demonstrable team-oriented approach to their work as well as the ability to work independently as and when required. Excellent data management and presentation skills, communication skills, both oral and written, are essential together with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues.
