Our client is seeking to add a new member to its supervisory board. Preferably the candidate is an entrepreneur from a family business background, with ample experience in growing and developing a business in the lab products, analytical products, life sciences space or adjacent markets from a smaller player to a medium size or large enterprise. Prior experience with quality control and safety in food and feed applications would be a real asset.

As a member of our client’s supervisory board, you will act as one of the company stewards. The board and its members determine the strategic direction, organize, control and give the necessary instructions to the operational management and protect the company from risks (supervision, risk management, financial control) or failure. In addition to these statutory tasks, the Board of Directors often perform a wide range of other functions as in providing networking opportunities, coaching, acting as enablers, crisis managers, consultants, etc.
