We currently have a permanent, full-time vacancy for a Sales Executive to support the Company’s business development activities in the UK south of Birmingham. Please note that this role will require regular domestic and international travel, including overnight stays. Working hours would be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical familiarity with the Company’s service portfolio
  • Generation of and follow up with all new leads in collaboration with the Commercial team
  • New client account development and introduction of new services to current client base
  • Company representation at national and international trade shows as required
  • Monitoring of sales metrics and new enquiries via Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Feedback of industry developments to appropriate department
  • Generation of face to face meetings with new and existing clients

Requirements:

  • Life sciences degree or combination of technical degree and experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Proven track record of B2B sales experience ideally selling in the Pharmaceutical sector or other related industries
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office suite and Outlook
  • Familiarity with CRM
  • Must be full driving licence holder

Salary and reward package:

  • Salary range up to £30,000, plus sales commission and car allowance
