ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST/ SCIENTIST – Lentiviral vectors

Oxford Genetics are recruiting an Associate Scientist/ Scientist – Lentiviral Vectors who will be involved in a range of internal platform development and commercial projects, predominantly focused on Lentiviral vector engineering and production, and establishing stable viral packaging and producer cell lines and associated processes. The Scientist role is expected to drive and lead specific projects and areas of research from the bench, while providing support and training to Associate Scientists and technicians working in the Lentiviral Vector group, which addresses both viral vector engineering and novel-bioproduction methodologies.

Scientist - Gene Editing

Oxford Genetics are recruiting a Gene Editing Scientist who will be involved in a range of internal platform development and commercial projects, predominantly focused on expanding gene editing capabilities and platforms at Oxford Genetics. OG has a number of on-going programmes in this area, and multiple government supported grant awards, which the recipient will contribute towards. Scientist colleagues are expected to drive and lead specific projects and areas of research from the bench, while providing support and training to Technicians working in the group. The position will involve extensive interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to show commitment to scientific development and innovation are considered essential.

Oxford Genetics has a number of on-going programmes and collaborations in this area, and multiple government supported grant awards, which the recipient will contribute towards.

Associate Scientist / Scientist Molecular Biology (AAV Focus)

Oxford Genetics is looking to recruit an Associate Scientist / Scientist – Molecular Biology who will work across a range of internal and commercial projects, focusing on the generation of molecular constructs for the production of Adeno-associated virus. The role will work closely with the AAV production team and sits within the AAV Vector Group, which addresses both viral vector engineering and novel-bioproduction methodologies. Oxford Genetics intends to further build its expertise over the next 6-12 months in the Viral Therapeutics field, predominantly around Lentiviral, AAV and Adenoviral vectors.
