Where are we with Digital Health?’ How the Latest Technologies are Positively Impacting Patient Outcomes

Digital Health is one of the largest and most rapidly growing sectors in the world, with the global market for digital health expected to reach up to £400 billion by 2025.  There is no doubt that software-based technology, data analytics and connected devises are having an enormous impact on our health and fitness, transforming the quality of life for millions of people.

This special edition BioTuesday, hosted at the Oxford Science Park, will feature a range of expert keynote speakers who will provide insight into the latest developments in digital health, along with barriers to adoption, including:

Genomics: Where are we in linking personal genomics and health management for healthy and ill populations?

Wearables: How real time monitoring can help with patient management, in the hospital and at home and encourage healthier lifestyles

Big Data: How the collection and analysis of patient/population data can lead to a better understanding of health risks, predict downturns in health and to deliver more precise treatments?

Remote Patient Monitoring: What is the transformative effect on society, particularly on the ageing population?

We will also address what the digital transformation means to the wider pharmaceutical industry now that giants such as Google, Apple and Amazon have begun to diversify in the healthcare area and provide an insight into the investment trends in this space.
